INTRODUCTION
Dear Bloggers,
Thank you for taking the time to view my introduction. Hopefully this will give you a better understanding of who I am by providing you with a laundry list of random information. Where to begin…As seen on the tab above, my name is Paul Lutgen; in you were wondering my Dad has the same name. I am a freshman out of Seattle Washington and I enjoy the rain; Boise weather is way different! Going to class, eating, working out, studying, and sleeping occupy my weekdays, however I take it easy and relax on the weekends with my friends. I enjoy watching movies and a few of my favorites include Donnie Darko, Snatch, Tropic Thunder, Swordfish, Reservoir Dogs, Fight Club, and the Big Lebowski. I also play piano and have taken lessons for 12 years, however, you would never guess that seeing me in person. Random facts about me include: listening to all types of music, not having my widom teeth removed, putting hand sanitizer on when I walk past a dispenser, and viewing videos on Youtube for hours. Future goals include becoming a dentist, having a dog, and marrying a smoking hot wife. I value hard work, exercise, friends and family, and delicious food. If you are still reading this then you have successfully made it through all that personal mumbo-jumbo, and I congratulate you.
Being involved in a service learning program this semester, there are things I am looking forward to, goals I aim to achieve, as well as things I can promise to my Bloggers. Serving The Discovery Center, I look forward to not only the science and procedures but first and foremost, donating my time to helping this organization and the people involved in it. Majoring in pre-dentistry with a biology focus, working at a science center is perfect for me; science has always been an enjoyable subject to research and study. My goal of this project is to achieve a better understanding of science and of the people within this organization; their daily duties and science background. Over this semester, I promise my Bloggers an honest documentation of my experience at The Discovery Center. I will work hard and donate the required amount of hours and not submit to laziness. Bloggers can also look forward to videos and media I will be using through this research process to keep everyone interested. All of this I say to you…IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!
-Paul Lutgen
P.S: Enjoy!
