Annotated Bibliography Entry 1
Cleaver, Samantha. “Hands-on is Minds-on.” Scholastic Inc., NA. Thursday. 3 March 2011. http://theepiccenterfordiscovery.blogspot.com/
The author of this article and a second-grade teacher has gathered information about kids and hands-on learning. They used their research in the classroom to explain, how they thought that hands-on learning is a learning style that is much more productive and allows students to get more out of the information that is being taught in the classroom. This was a good article for my research question, because it really went into detail about how kids adapt to the hands-on style of learning compared to the “traditional” style of learning. I think that this will be an interesting source for more of my research.
