Annotated Bibliography 2

Velez, Lisanne. "The Unintended Effects of Interactive Objects and Labels in the Science Museum." UTSC. Wiley InterScience, 9 Jun 2008. Web. 2 Mar 2011.  <http://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/~dunbarlab/pubpdfs/4300636422417556957.pdf>.

The author along with other group members created this study in collaboration with researchers at the prestigious Dartmouth College.  They used psychology for the extent of their research to better understand how the brain understands questions and how that translates into intelligent conversation.  This source is perfect for my research question; it goes into depth about the very things I am discussing!  I am very excited to study this source in my process of research.

P.s. Lateral Research for the win!

  1. Paul: I'm glad lateral research is working well for you, as this strategy has really been key for my own work. I think you're doing an excellent job with your bibliography entries. The only thing I would ask, is that you make your discussions a little more concrete. For example, what specifically was interesting about your sources discussion about questions/intelligent conversations? Or how specifically does your source go in to depth about your research question? Even the addition of a sentence or two, if they include clarifying details/examples, would have made your work seem a little better grounded.

Nicely done. You're working with and finding some challenging stuff.
